Book Review: London: Monocle Travel Guide

I was recently given this small little book from a friend for my upcoming trip to London. After reading it, I would highly recommend this easy read to anyone planning on visiting the city. This travel guide will make you feel like a local wherever you go. It is aimed at people who want to avoid the tourist traps and high prices and prefer eating in quaint cafés and feeling at home in a foreign land. The book covers a vast number of neighborhoods and activities that give the explorer a better perspective of the city. It also provides a number of options, so that the readers can pick and choose based on their lifestyle and interests. In addition, the book is very organized and well-laid out. London: Monocle Travel Guide (Monocle Travel Guides) comes in a compact size and is therefore lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around town in a coat pocket or purse. And who wants to stick out as a tourist? Just when you think you’ve seen it all, this book is sure to make your next trip to London all the more unforgettable.
