Life in Rochester

Rochester is a city with  a wide range of geographic area, but at the same time little public   transportation system. People drive to parks for fun or hiking on the weekend, they are spending time hanging out with friends near Niagara Falls, only a 20 minutes’ drive.

Also, Museums downtown are willing to offer great experiences getting to know Kodak and music concerts organized by Eastman School of Music. Together connecting closely to Toronto (as you are supposed to have a Canadian visa), students living in Rochester can have access to researching and studying as well as taking advantage of Metropolitan cities.

University of Rochester is also always happy to hold events for students to get involved in life of UR, with weekly news emails in my inbox, I have full idea of how people are willing to enjoy themselves in such a freezing area like this. We do not live in a big city, but we do spend our life thrillingly as much as people do.
