The Voy!™ team will be stopping by Prague this month in order to get the latest scoop on what there is to see and do in the city.  The “city of a thousand steeples” is by far one of our favorite cities.  There is no better place in the world to appreciate original medieval architecture.  Walking around the old town of Prague, one feels like they’ve stepped inside a children’s fairytale.

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is the fifteenth-largest city in the European Union and the historical capital of Bohemia. Situated on the Vltava River, the city is home to about 1.5 million people.   Largely unscathed by the destruction of World War II, the old town and castle hill areas are exactly as they were in the 15th and 16th centuries.

Must-see attractions include the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín hill and Vyšehrad.  The extensive historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Our favorite building in all the world has resided in Prague’s Old Town Square since the early 15th century.  The Church of Our Lady before Tyn is one of the finest pieces of original medieval architecture in the world.  Stay posted for our review and photos of this wonderful city!
